Research team at the IRCCS Mondino Foundation (Pavia, Italy) is seeking applications for a post-doctoral researcher to expand the expertise of the lab. Scientifically, the lab is focused on studying the mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of Parkinson’s disease as well as on testing new therapeutic approaches by using in vivo and in vitro models. The lab also aims at identifying potential diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers in cells and biological fluids of Parkinson’s patients.
We are looking for a post-doctoral candidate, with less than two-three years after obtaining their PhD, with a doctoral degree related to biological sciences and a solid background in neuroscience. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and has solid knowledge in molecular biology complemented by expertise in CRISPR technology. Previous experience in mitochondrial metabolism and Seahorse technology will be an asset.
