National Meeting of PhD Students in Neuroscience 2022

On June 11 2022, the University of Brescia will host the Italian Society for Neuroscience NATIONAL MEETING OF PHD STUDENTS IN NEUROSCIENCE.

The event will be held in the Faculty of Medicine Lecture Hall, Viale Europa 11, Brescia.

This meeting will offer an overview of the New Perspectives of Italian Neuroscience research. PhD students will be the protagonists of the day presenting the results of their Projects.

It will be a day to promote interactions and exchange of ideas that will offer an invaluable opportunity of discussion between young people involved in Neuroscience.

The Italian Neurosciences play an important role in the international scientific research scene both for basic studies and for the plethora of investigations focusing on the molecular underpinnings of Nervous System disorders. A significant contribution to the success of Neuroscience in the European context is certainly provided by the research of young Italian scientists who have achieved results of international relevance in the field of neuroscience.

Abstract submission will be open from April 1 to April 30 2022.

Candidates can submit their Abstract by sending the fully filled Abstract submission form at iscrizioni.sinsphdmeeting@unibs.it.

Submission deadline: 11.59 pm (CEST) on April 30, 2022. Abstracts submitted after this deadline will not be taken into consideration.

 

Special Issue “Frontiers in Molecular Neuroscience”

 

The journal “Frontiers in Molecular Neuroscience” accepted our proposal for a Special Issue dedicated to publish full research reports, review articles meta-analyses or viewpoints from the Young Neuroscientists attending the Meeting on June 11, 2022.
In order to collegially converge to the most interesting and transversal Research Topic for this Special Issue, you are kindly invited to select among one of the following Titles by writing your preferred one in the Abstract Form submission:

  • Emerging perspectives in brain research
  • Synaptic function in physiology and pathology
  • Advances in brain disorders: from mechanisms to therapeutic targets

The most voted title will be selected.
