The Workshop “The enteric nervous system in health and disease”, organized by the Center for Neuroscience Research at the University of Insubria, in collaboration with DBSV and DiMiT, is dedicated to the study of the enteric nervous system, with a focus on recent evidence on neurophysiological mechanisms regulating the complex neural network that innervates the gastrointestinal tract.
The conference will take place on May 29, 2026, in Busto Arsizio (VA, Italy), offering plenary lectures with the participation of internationally renowned experts, and featuring a poster session and two sessions dedicated to short talks by selected poster presenters.
Registration is open until May 1st, 2026.
Abstract submission closes on March 28th, 2026.
The event is aimed at university students, doctoral students, postdocs, and senior researchers in the biomedical field, with a maximum of 100 participants. The conference represents an important opportunity for promoting scientific updating, strengthening scientific collaboration, and stimulating new research perspectives in the field of enteric neuroscience.
