The SINS Youth Committee (SYC) is dedicated to empowering and supporting young neuroscientists throughout Italy. Its Mission is to bridge the gap between the needs of young researchers and the initiatives provided by the SINS Council. Through tailored programs and initiatives, the SYC actively promotes the engagement of young neuroscientists in the scientific community, addressing their unique challenges and concerns.

Key activities of the SYC include:

  • Organizing the prestigious National Meeting of PhD Students in Neuroscience, which serves as a vital platform for showcasing the research activities of emerging scholars and establishing fruitful collaborations;
  • Establishing the NeuroClub initiative to disseminate high-impact publications that inform and inspire advancements in neuroscience;
  • Collaborating with the SINS Communication Committee to effectively spread awareness of SINS activities via social media platforms and newsletters, providing feedback and suggestions, and ensuring that young neuroscientists stay informed and connected.

Overall, the SYC’s overarching goal is to cultivate a vibrant and supportive community for young neuroscientists within SINS. By providing a platform for dialogue and idea exchange, SYC aims to shape the future of neuroscience in Italy and beyond.
