New Ventures for Exploring Tomorrow’s Brain Stimulation
The workshop is dedicated to the advanced approaches of brain stimulation techniques within the area of cognitive neuroscience. Our primary objective is to delve into the intricacies of stimulation methods, fostering an understanding of the current empirical evidence and theoretical complexities surrounding the application of transcranial brain stimulation in cognitive neuroscience. Throughout the scheduled sessions, speakers and participants will engage in focused and critical discussions, unraveling the latest advancements, challenges, and general considerations associated with stimulation approaches.
Moreover, emphasis will be placed on how collaboration between laboratories within an open science framework, can improve the advancement of knowledge in this research area. By facilitating an environment that encourages collaboration and interdisciplinary dialogue, the workshop seeks to empower attendees with a deeper appreciation for the potential impact of transcranial brain stimulation in the neuroscience research area. The workshop serves as a platform for sharing knowledge, fostering collaboration, and pushing the frontiers of brain stimulation research.
The agenda will include in-depth discussions with Invited Speakers and Poster Presenters, on the empirical evidence supporting various stimulation techniques and the theoretical foundations that underpin their effectiveness.
There will be a dedicated space to present and promote collaborative projects in NIBS field, with an open science perspective. If you would like to present your project, please write to the organisation.
A small number of travel grants (i.e., awards) based on poster presentation will be awarded during the workshop on a competitive basis (see below).
DEADLINES:
Abstract submission deadline: 28th October 2024 (or at reaching the maximum number of posters 50)
