The 21st SINdem National Congress, titled “Combined Approaches in Diagnosis and Treatment of Neurodegenerative Disorders,” will explore the latest advances in the diagnosis and management of neurodegenerative diseases, with a particular focus on Alzheimer’s disease and emerging disease-modifying therapies. The program will examine the role of fluid and neuroimaging biomarkers in biological diagnosis and accurate patient stratification, alongside the clinical evidence for anti-amyloid treatments and their translation into real-world clinical practice. Special emphasis will be placed on the benefit-risk profile, safety, and multi-modal monitoring (clinical, biological, and neuroradiological) of treated patients, including the management of potential adverse events. Furthermore, the congress will address the organizational and healthcare implications of these novel therapies, focusing on clinical appropriateness, continuity of care, and the integration of diagnostic-therapeutic pathways.
