On Tuesday, March 12th, at the Refectory Hall of the Chamber of Deputies in Rome, Italy, during the Brain Awareness Week, the Italian Society of Neurology presented the Italian Manifesto “One Brain, One Health” 2024-2031. The manifesto aims to involve all scientific societies interested in the brain, healthcare professionals, institutions, and civil society in raising greater awareness about the importance of a healthy brain for individual and societal well-being.
Monica DiLuca intervened representing the Italian Society for Neuroscience, emphasizing the importance of having support for basic neuroscience research to promote brain health. She also reiterated the need for a strategic research and innovation agenda in the field of neuroscience to ensure coordination and collaboration at national, european, and global levels.
