Description: Two Postdoctoral Positions Available
Two postdoctoral positions are available in Prof. Colla's research group to investigate the therapeutic potential of TLR2 inhibition in a transgenic mouse model of Parkinson's disease.
The appointments are for a two-year period and will be awarded following the national competitive selection process (concorso) under the Italian postdoctoral research contract (incarico postdoc) scheme.
The successful candidates will be employed by San Raffaele Open University Rome, whereas the research will be carried out in Pisa at the Laboratory of Biology of the Scuola Normale Superiore, located on the CNR campus (Institute of Neuroscience).
Although the contracts will be issued by San Raffaele Open University, Rome the successful candidates will conduct their research in Pisa, at the Laboratory of Biology of the Scuola Normale Superiore, located on the Institute of Neuroscience (CNR) campus.
Required qualifications and experience:
- Hands-on experience with mouse models, including behavioral testing, injections, and tissue dissection.
- Experience in cell biology, biochemistry, and imaging techniques.
- Strong motivation and positive attitude to work in neuroscience research and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
