Description: A one-year research position, with the possibility of renewal, is available at the University of Bologna within a funded preclinical research project focused on the development of an innovative therapeutic strategy for a rare neurodevelopmental disorder.

The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary research team and contribute to both in vitro and in vivo experimental activities, including cellular and molecular biology, cell and primary neuronal cultures, experimental mouse models, immunofluorescence/immunohistochemistry, Western blotting, and molecular and functional characterization of experimental treatments.

We are primarily seeking a postdoctoral researcher with a PhD in Neuroscience, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related discipline and hands-on experience in cellular/molecular biology and/or experimental animal models. However, applications from highly motivated candidates without a PhD, but with a relevant Master's degree and strong laboratory experience, are also welcome.

Experience in one or more of the following areas would be particularly valuable: cell or primary neuronal cultures, molecular biology, microscopy and immunofluorescence, Western blotting, in vivo experimental models, and behavioral studies.

Additional expertise in microbiology, bacterial cultures, recombinant protein production, or related methodologies would be considered an asset, but is not required.

We are looking for a motivated, collaborative, and enthusiastic researcher interested in contributing to a multidisciplinary and translational project with potential therapeutic relevance.
