SINS is pleased to support the participation of young researchers in the EITN EBRAINS Fall School in Computational Neuroscience, which will take place in Pavia from September 21 to 30, 2026.

We are offering 2 travel grants of €500 each for SINS members. The grants are intended for pre-doctoral and post-doctoral fellows under 36 who do not hold a permanent position.

The EITN EBRAINS Fall School in Computational Neuroscience offers an intensive 10-day program for Master’s students, PhD students, and postdocs interested in advancing their knowledge in theoretical and computational neuroscience. The school focuses on multiscale brain modelling, covering a range of topics from molecular-cellular and circuit models to mean-field and whole-brain simulations, while utilizing cutting-edge environments for model building. Through a combination of lectures, tutorials, and hands-on group projects, participants will work under the guidance of leading European researchers.

Further information regarding the school’s objectives and program is available at the official website: https://ebrains.eu/news-and-events/events/2026/eitn-ebrains-fall-school-in-computational-neuroscience-2026.

Deadline for application: June 9, 2026.

The selection will be based on a “first-come, first-served” basis for all eligible candidates. For further details on eligibility and how to apply, please download the official call [LINK].
