Two of Britain’s most notorious animal rights extremists faced court allegations of waging ‘psychological warfare’ on a transport company owner [LINK]. The transport company involved was contracted to transport animals from an animal breeder to laboratories which conduct medical research and testing in animal models.
However, the pair were cleared of any wrongdoing after telling jurors that they were attempting to ‘expose offences committed against animals’. Surprisingly, the jury was not informed of their previous activist history, which included participation in bombing campaigns and attacks to members of animal research laboratories.
