Description: The lab of Prof. Vittoria Raffa at the University of Pisa is offering 2 PostDoc positions (contratto di ricerca). Prof. Raffa was recently granted by Fondo Italiano per la Scienza (FIS) and European Research Council (ERC). The lab’s primary research focus is on understanding the molecular mechanisms activated by mechano-transduction in neurons, and force-induced modulation of gene expression at the transcriptional, post-transcriptional, and translational levels. The fellows will perform their research activities within the FIS and ERC advanced granted.
The ideal candidates should have experience in at least two of the following topics: neuronal models, mechano-transduction, microtubules, transcriptomics/ ChIP-seq, DNA cloning, Super resolution microscopy
